Theme Week With Guest Designer!

Good morning stampers!

We hope you are all enjoying the Easter bank holiday weekend!

It looks like you enjoyed working with the bright and cheery colours we challenged you with last week, and this weeks fab top 3 are
Well done ladies don't forget to take the Top 3 Banner to
display on your Sidebar with pride xx

Little Reminder:
Don't forget that in order to be considered for the Top 3 you must use one Stampin' Up! image or sentiment and we reserve the right to remove submissions that do not represent the challenge,  link to non-SU promotions, or do not use at least one Stampin' Up! stamp, designer paper, punch or die.

This week we have a theme week and we couldn't let Easter go by without celebrating
so this weeks challenge is
All Things Easter
so let's see what you can come up with to celebrate with us!

Guest Designer
As you will know last month we started a new feature, where we invite a guest designer to join us for the first challenge of the month, this month we are very proud to be joined by the very talented
Of course we couldn't help asking a few crafting questions too!

Why did you join Stampin' Up! and what do you love about it?
I joined SU because I wanted a job, but it had to be something that would fit around my family. Being a demo is perfect because I can ramp things up or pull back depending on what's going on in my family life.

How long have you been crafting for?
I started making cards when I went (reluctantly!) to a Stampin' Up party in 2007 and was instantly hooked!

What are your 3 desert island SU! items, things you just can't craft without?
How can I only pick three things I can't craft without?!!! Okay, I'm going to say my beloved markers (all those colours and so many things to do with them!); my stamp-a-majig (for getting the most out of my stamps); and stamps (oh the pleasure of a new stamp set!)

What is your favourite SU! colour?
Picking my favourite colour is really hard too! I'll say Old Olive but to be honest I have many favourites. I love the in colours too - getting new colours to play with is almost as much fun as getting new stamps!

Which is your most reached for stamp set?
And I have so many favourite stamp sets! But when I looked at the archive on my blog it turned out that my most used stamp sets are Autumn Days and Lovely as a Tree! (That's not counting sentiment sets)

Send us a picture of your favourite (3 max) Stampin' Up! projects you've made.

What inspires your crafting creativity?
I get inspiration for my cards from life! Nature, people, colours, packaging, fabric... life is one big visual library. And of course I love online challenges too!

What's your favourite crafting technique?
My favourite technique has to be sponging. Most of my cards involve sponging and/or masking in one form or another.

And finally.... we asked Vicky to make a project for this weeks theme Easter

Wonderful wouldn't you agree? With the floating Easter Egg balloon detail!
Thanks so much Vicky for being our next Guest Designer!
Make sure you visit Vickys blog to see more fab examples of her work.

So lets see what our Design Team have come up with to inspire you for this weeks theme

  3. Lots of lovely Easter inspirations - afraid I didn't need another Easter card but I have included eggs and 'daffodils' so hope it will qualify.
